The objectives are to evaluate: - socio-economic aspects of different control strategies;
- criteria in the process of deciding upon a strategy;
- methods and data requirements appropriate for describing and analysing the attitudes and decisions of key actors (farmers, stakeholders, government, labs, etc.) in one or several member countries;
- methods for incorporation of sociological context into the decision and management process of BVDV in special, and endemic infectious diseases in general.
